How Do I Sign a New Moon Abundance Check? - 8/4/05

Dear Lipstick Mystic,

I was about to write a new moon check, and I couldn't remember a couple of things you had mentioned to do. One was how to actually sign the check. I thought I had remembered something about how I should write in on the line where I'd normally sign the check "The Law of Abundance." Is it best to sign it with your name like normal or write out "The Law Of Abundance"?

This is a great question. I may not have covered this important piece of the process in my past articles about writing new moon abundance checks.

It's best to sign the check "The Law of Abundance" because this energy is the "endorser" backing the check. You are invoking the abundance of God or a Higher Power. So by signing it this way, you are calling into activation this energy principle or Divine Law. You are reconnecting yourself to the spiritual "ley line" of divine abundance and invoking it to manifest in your life NOW.

As sparks of God or Great Spirit, we have the capacity to connect with abundance at all times. But sometimes a ritual that connects us with familiar ways of receiving, i.e. writing ourselves a check, is the perfect cue which stimulates our ability to receive better.

The Law of Abundance as the endorser on the check also calls into play abundance in many forms. So you might receive something besides money that ushers in feelings of abundance. This could be a gift, a free goodie, from someone. It might also manifest as a donation or an exchange of service (where someone who normally charges $200 an hour barters with you for an exchange of services, and you end up receiving $200 worth of something important for providing a service that's easy for you to do.)

It's amazing to see how invoking the Law of Abundance can reconnect you with the stream of life, bringing miracles to your doorstep.
