Stuart
Wilde, author, mystic, and consciousness researcher,
posts a lot of insightful essays at his website. His
main website address is: http://www.stuartwilde.com.
You won't want to miss this new article he has written
about how common supernatural abilities are becoming.
People are displaying talents that we would normally
classify as "superpowers." And it's not just happening
to the healer and mystic types, those folks who regularly
meditate on a mountaintop with goats. They are kicking
in for many "average" people. Businessmen, housewives
and other "normal" people are spontaneously
developing supernatural talents, and quite often,
they talk to Wilde about it. Sometimes, he even gets
to see these talents in action.
I
know exactly what he's talking about. Over the years,
thousands of people have been telling me about their
own mystical experiences. Sometimes, when something
mystical happens to you, it can be liberating sharing
your story. You realize that you're not alone in experiencing
these things. As always, I invite you to submit your
own stories to me at editor@lipstickmystic.com.
No tale is too strange to share, because the Lipstick
Mystic has seen it all. I'm collecting these first-hand
accounts to use in some of my future articles about
psychic abilities. Don't worry. Your contact info
will remain private unless you tell me that it's okay
to include it. And if you DO want to include it, you're
welcome to post a link to your website and a brief
description of yourself, your services, etc. I'm always
happy to give good people greater exposure through
this site.
In
his essay, Wilde lays out exactly how these abilities
are manifesting. If you've ever fantasized about possessing
X-ray vision, being able to levitate, or to psychically "sniff" out
people at a distance, you'll be interested to know
that these talents are real. Lots of people around
the world are experiencing them, only they probably
aren't talking to you about it! They talk to people
like Wilde and me because we're so familiar with the
territory. You can read Wilde's essay by following
the link at the bottom of this article.
The
thing I found most exciting about Wilde's post is
that he's found that these abilities are available
to everyone, and they are showing up with greater
frequency than ever before. Many people will have
these sensory talents kick in for a week or so, then
they fade out again. At other times, these miraculous
gifts will stick around for a while. And these talents
are even showing up in people who don't consider themselves
to be especially spiritual, metaphysical, or religious.
The greatest pioneers in human awareness and physical sciences have
long been saying that a dimensional shift is occurring,
a shift in the Earth's frequency or rate of vibration. As this heightened
magnetic field becomes more stabilized, abilities that were long
ago prophesied by Jesus in the Bible are becoming available to us
all. Remember how Jesus famously stated that one day we shall do
as He has done? He was always very clear about this.
People like me and Stuart Wilde have been personally demonstrating
many of these talents off and on for years. And believe me, it's
a tough path. I've always approached psychic abilities with great
passion and curiosity, wanting to push myself to experience more,
to be able to heal, remote view, lucid dream, and manifest events
and things on the material plane with greater and greater accuracy.
Sometimes I feel like a thoroughbred who is champing at the bit,
ready to get out on the racetrack, only the racetrack is the race
to advance human consciousness and to help stretch it to new, unexplored
levels.
Sometimes,
after I've completed a race, I return to my stall
and get kicked in the teeth. Your average Joe likes
to demonize people who have developed their psychic
abilities. Or he will deify them. It's usually one
or the other. But I've gotten used to people looking
at me cross-eyed or freaking out if I happen to mention,
well, just about anything that I'm actually doing
in my life. The REAL stuff. The science fiction/quantum
reality stuff.
I
know that the "shock" value of people demonstrating
psychic abilities will soon change when EVERYBODY
starts to have these gifts awaken to some degree.
They'll see that people like me and Stuart Wilde were
maybe just a little ahead of schedule, not special
or remarkable at all. We were just early with our
development of these talents. Or maybe we were just
more loud-mouthed about it! There are scads of people
out there who are demonstrating far more superior
psychic abilitiy than I could ever hope to, but few
of them go public about it.
And
it can be a smart thing, to keep your mouth shut.
People can have some exaggerated responses when they
encounter a psychic person. Sometimes, there's a flurry
of intense interest. For instance, at one point last
year, a top producer in Hollywood wanted to create
a sitcom based on my unpublished metaphysical memoir.
The memoir was about how crazy it was for me trying
to balance "normal" things like dating,
working, and earning an income throughout my 20's
while also having my psychic talents fire up in these
amazing ways. We were pitching it as sort of a psychic
version of "Sex and the City," a
girly show with wit and sass, based on one woman's
unconventional single years.
At
one point, a couple of studios expressed interest,
but we weren't able to line up a "hot" Hollywood
writer and attach him to the project fast enough.
There's this stable of about 20 key writers in Hollywood
who are considered "show runners," possessed
of "magic" ability to turn a show into a
hit, and everyone wants to work with them. By the
time we were pitching the project, it was rather late
in the season, and most of these writers were already
attached to other projects. Although I imagine most
of them are out of work now, since within the last
year, fewer scripted shows are being produced. "Reality" shows
are flooding the airwaves instead. (Yeah, right, Charo
and Brigitte Neilsen living in a house together is
reality. Talk about The Surreal Life.)
Throughout
the development process, I couldn't shake off a queasy
feeling. I thought the producer was marvelous, an
incredibly sharp, creative, and intuitive lady. If
anyone could do my life story justice, she could.
But I didn't quite trust the rest of the Hollywood "machine" to
handle the story with as much sensitivity and lightness
of spirit as this gifted woman was bringing to the
project. So many shows on TV are SO HORRIBLE. And
a story loosely based on my life could suddenly turn
into a show about witches practicing black sorcery
or morph in another exploitative direction, because
that's how many show biz types translate the words "spirituality," "psychic," or "metaphysical." They
might want to turn it into Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
glorifying the dark side of the "occult," instead
of making it a show about real life miracles. I wanted
the whole show to express an uplifting and empowering
message, one with high spirits and positive energy.
I truly felt we could be funny, sexy AND spiritual
with the story, if it were handled correctly. We'd
have to beat the odds, though, since getting spiritual
material through the Hollywood "machine" could
be tough.
When
the show didn't happen, I felt good. Okay, so I missed
the money a little bit. Rather a lot, actually, since
I would have received a percentage of the production
budget on the show. But my soul was still intact.
And at least I wasn't going to have to deal with people
thinking I was either a demon or a goddess based on
some wacky stuff that was shown in the TV show. So
my stress levels could remain low.
I
still deal with a certain amount of stress centered
around my psychic abilities in my everyday life, of
course. As a culture, the only thing we seem able
to do when a bunch of people get together in a room
is ask each other what we do for a living. When I
say I'm a writer, people want to know what kind. When
I tell them I write about spiritual and metaphysical
stuff, they get this funny look in their eyes, as
if they've swallowed a bad clam. The whole thing is
so scary or bizarre, they can't wrap their heads around
it. So most of the time I minimize what I do and tell
people the truth - I make my living as a freelance
writer, and my work appears in many magazines and
newspapers. I leave it at that. If you tell people
that some of your writing is about astrology, they
tend to grab their underage children and scoot them
out of the room out of fear that you might eat them
or something. "Those astrologer people aren't
like you or me!"
Sigh.
Throughout the intense ups and downs of my own personal
journey, the only thing I've ever wanted is to share
what I've learned with others and to give people information
that will help them to integrate this grand new way
of experiencing reality. The dimensional shift is
here, and somebody in your life is already experiencing
this shift in a profound, life-changing way. Your
kids are probably completely telepathic and empathic,
but you're clueless about it. Your senior citizen
mom is likely to be grooving on regular conversations
with the angels, but she'd never tell you about it
because you'd dismiss her as being senile and subject
her to all manner of atrocious medications or invasive
operations in an effort to "fix" her. Your
best friend who went through a health crisis last
year may well have been spending a considerable amount
of time communing with God, only she can't talk to
you about it because you only see God as somebody
you access at church on Sunday in a formal, ritualistic
fashion, and you could never imagine having a casual
chat with Him over the dining room table. Surely,
God doesn't answer you when you have a mouthful of
mashed potatoes?
We
all need to challenge ourselves to embrace an ever-evolving
sense of truth, finding more expansive ways of entering
into the Divine conversation. This planet is alive,
the plants and animals who live around us are alive,
and everything is pulsating with this incredible,
dynamic intelligence. By aligning ourselves with that
energy, we'll each begin to manifest joyful, awe-inspiring
talents that will take us into the center of reality
instead of remaining stranded outside of the grand
circle of Creation.
And,
as Stuart Wilde and others are discovering, you don't
have to think of yourself as special, spiritual, or
psychic to access this amazing dance of intelligent
energy. Just watch, wait, and see. Pretty soon, you'll
realize that you've long been on a Cosmic Ride. You
are just waking up and realizing the truth of where
you are.
