Neve Campbell Sees Ghosts Plus Using Essential Oils to Ward Off Negativity - 10/5/06

Neve Campbell, the actress who appeared in the "Scream" movies, says she sees the ghost of her dead grandmother on a regular basis. Her dad sees spirits, too. Neve Campbell Talks About Seeing Ghosts

She says that lighting a candle can ward off negativity and bring you spiritual protection.  She's kind of right about that.  Anything you do with a spiritual intent instantly becomes imbued with energy.  So if you believe that lighting a white candle will protect you, sure enough, it will.

Essential Oils Can Ward Off Negativity

There are certain things like the herbs frankincense, sandalwood, and sage that truly ARE powerful against negativity, whether you "believe" in them or not.  Light some incense made from one of these herbs or sprinkle a few drops of the essential oil into a bottle of water and spray the liquid around the room. The high vibration of these herbs shifts the vibration right away. You'll feel better immediately.

You can also wear the essental oils as a cologne, but since they're so strong, they can burn the skin. So it's best to mix them in a spray bottle with water as I describe above and spray yourself with a mixture of water and the oil. Or you can mix some of the essential oil in a base of almond oil, jojoba oil, or olive oil (all of which are great for the skin!)

You can also buy oils that have already been pre-mixed by an expert. I'm a huge fan of the massage oils produced by Khepra Skin Care. They blend high quality massage oils in yummy-smelling mixtures. I like to use their oils as a lotion when my skin gets dry. Or I'll just put some on as a perfume if I'm feeling droopy and find myself in need of a lift. The scents from these oils act as a great form of aromatherapy.

All of their massage oils are high grade, not like the cheaper massage oils that end up smelling "off" or going rancid after they've been in your cabinet for a while.  These oils keep for a long time. In the winter months when you're taking hot salt tub baths, these oils can be added to the bath, creating both skin therapy and aromatherapy. They help soften the skin while lifting your mood - a great combination!

And you men out there, these oils don't have those "fruity," girly scents that so many oils do. Each one is blended more like a subtle cologne, not overwhelming in aroma but more subtle. So don't worry. You won't end up running around smelling like a patchouli-loving hippie if you put a dab of these oils at your wrists or neck!  Instead, you'll just smell mighty fine.

I've been using their Egyptian Aura massage oil. It has essential oils of myrrh, lavender, cedarwood (three more high vibrational oils,) frankincense, sandalwood, teatree and bitter almond.  Good smelling stuff! Again, it doesn't have an overwhelming scent, it's more of a subtle one. If you put a few drops at the wrist or neck and wear it throughout the day, you'll be receiving just a dash of aromatherapy throughout your day.  The Egyptian Aura one is especially "manly," and it makes a nice substitue for cologne. It also makes a great hand cream because its base is a bunch of skin-friendly stuff including aloe vera gel, almond oil, grapeseed oil and apricot kernal oil.
