Where the Hell is My Chiffon Gear for Project Runway Fans - 3/2/06 |

I am such a fan of Bravo TV's Project Runway that the catchphrases from the show are now permanently engrained in my brain. If you are a fellow Project Runway fever sufferer, then you know what I mean. One of my favorites is, “Where the hell is my chiffon?” This phrase turned up on the first season of Project Runway and it seems to have been used by either Austin Scarlett or Jay McCarroll, who became last season’s winner. But nobody knows for sure. On the second season Andrae Gonzalo, sensitive, gifted designer and sweetly enlightened soul, used it. And since then the phrase has kind of been floating around in the ethers. It needed to be turned into a teeshirt. And a sweatshirt. And a mousepad. And other cool and assorted gear. I'll be adding more stuff soon, including mugs and other goodies. So today, because there were so many pressing and urgent things that I needed to be doing for work that my only possible recourse was to completely ignore them, I created a logo using the phrase “Where the hell is my chiffon?” and set up some gear at my online shop. What are you waiting for? It’s time to get your “Where the hell is my chiffon?” gear! |
