If you live in the Northeastern US, it’s likely that you’ve been feeling a little. . .wet….lately. Many people living near rivers have experienced floods as the Northeast was drenched in rains. It’s always scary when Mother Earth does something dramatic and people need to evacuate their homes. A lot of psychic disruption is generated. And yet, sometimes Mother Earth needs to release pressure and extreme weather events are the easiest way for her to do it.

I live near the Delaware River in New Jersey (although not TOO near,) and I’ve been seeing firsthand the devastating effects of this recent flood. Put it this way. I couldn’t get the mail for several days because our post office was UNDER WATER. I enjoy tuning into Mother Earth and getting the direct scoop from her about what is really going on. In my July 3, 2006 blog entry I share the insights that she gave me about what’s really going on with nature and whether severe earth changes are truly destined to happen or if those doomsaying prophets have it wrong. Jupiter is Direct but Mercury is Retrograde

If things feel a little topsy-turvy and you’re experiencing a weird “stop and start” sensation, you can chalk it up to the schizophrenic planetary activity that’s going on. Jupiter has finally gone direct after spending over three months in retrograde, and this is providing a lighter and more optimistic energy. At the same time, though, we just went into another Mercury retrograde period, which lasts until July 28 th. So while our attitude or emotional energy may be bouncier, there’s still a bit of heaviness going on. Mercury retrogrades are great periods for introspection, planning, and doing any sort of mental/emotional/physical housework that needs to be taken care of. That way, as Mercury finally goes direct on the 28 th, you’ll be able to move ahead with all those little details taken care of. I have the pendant in silver, which isn’t expensive at all. The gold version is equally as lovely and works a bit more with solar energies, while the silver version is a bit more feminine/moon in orientation.
