Cleanse Your Body and Energy Field with Sea Salts and Goodies from RapunzelGifts.com

Readers often ask me how they can clear out toxic energy. We absorb so much electromagnetic energy from sitting at our computers and crashing in front of the TV., and this non-organic form of electricity aggravates conditions from chronic fatigue to depression to joint pain. Sea salt is a "magic bullet" that clears out your auric field and releases toxins from your joints and muscles. If you have a bathtub, you need to keep a supply of sea salt on hand. Regular baths with about a handful of sea salt dissolved in the hot water can make a huge difference in your mental and spiritual clarity as well as soothing those aches and pains of the body.

One of my favorite online stores for health-oriented goodies is RapunzelGifts.com. They carry wonderful healing gift packs, sacred jewelry, and other products that enhance the spirit and balance the body.

RapunzelGifts has just started to offer an exciting new line of products that I know you'll love. This is their Goddess Line. They are essential oils (wearable as perfume because they're formulated as a roll-on, perfect for dabbing on the wrists;) bath salts; candles; and soap in three fabulous scents.

Parvati, the Goddess of Perseverance, is Shiva's female counterpart in the Hindu tradition. The Parvati fragrance is sweet and feminine, not too heavy, and you can really feel your energy lightening up as you take in the wonderful scent combination of vanilla and amber. You can get a whole set of Parvati goodies - wear the oil, bath in the salts, and enjoy the soaps and candles. I find this scent to be excellent for healing the heart and opening up the upper chakras.

The next scent is devoted to Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of abundance. I think I like this scent the best. It has musk overtones, but it's not one of those heavy, clingy musks. It's very wearable and lovely. I find this scent very grounding, excellent for "bringing you down to earth" and helping you to feel more centered in your physical body.

The third scent has been formulated in honor of the Greek warrior goddess Athena. This scent makes me feel like I'm hiking through the fields on a glorious summer day. It has lemongrass as one of its main ingredients, so it is slightly tangy yet also very much connected to the scent of the Earth and of Mother Nature. I feel confident and strong as I wear this scent, very focused in my solar plexus and navel chakras, centered and powerful.

These goddess formulations are all very positive and carry an uplifting, subtle vibration. Check out the goddess who most resonates with you, and I know you'll find a product that will boost your energy.

Mercury and Jupiter Retrograde, Oh My!

Yes, it's that time again. From March 2nd through March 25th we will be experiencing another Mercury retrograde period. Mercury is still in the sign of Pisces, which is an emotional placement for this intellectual planet. With Mercury in retrograde in Water sign Pisces we could be more tempted to overreact, to get our knickers in a twist about little things. Try not to take things so personally. If you experience delays, if you interact with someone who is behaving in a negative way, or if you feel a little down or discouraged, don't give those momentary moods too much power. Remember that this too, shall pass! Chill out and take extra care of yourself.

The same guidance applies to this retrograde as applies to every Mercury retrograde - you need to go slow, take it easy, and refrain from going to extremes. It's not the best time for signing legal contracts of any kind or making major decisions that will affect your long-term future. (Hint: don't get engaged. If someone presents you with a nice, fat diamond and a marriage proposal, your reply should be "Let me get back to you on that - say, around March 26th.")

This is a period for thinking, reviewing past actions, and reflecting on relationships. It's not the best time for making fresh starts.

This retrograde feeling of things moving slowly will be amplified by Jupiter also going retrograde. Jupiter goes retrograde in Scorpio on March 4th, and this slow-moving planet will remain retrograde until July 6th.

Jupiter is the forward thinking planet that helps us to gain a clear vision of our long-term goals, dreams and desires. When it is in retrograde, as it will be for several months, you could find yourself revisiting goals from the "old days." Maybe there's still some life in those old dreams. You could take up an old hobby or sport that you haven't practiced in a long time and discover that it still brings you great joy. You might be drawn to some form of artistic activity that you haven't had time for in recent years. Playing the guitar, creating artwork, or doing creative writing might be fun things to experiment with.

When it comes to relationships you could experience some "deja vu," too. Suddenly you're thinking about a friend you've lost touch with and you REALLY WANT to spend time with them. You miss those heartfelt chats and those moments of connection that you once shared. Call them, visit them, see if there is still energy to be explored in that connection.

Romances from the past may suddenly rear up again. You'll run into an old flame and wonder "Why did we ever break up?" Or if you're in a long-term relationship, you could have the feeling of a second honeymoon, reinvestigating that spark of passion that first brought the two of you together.

By the time Jupiter goes direct on July 6th, you'll have learned something wonderful about yourself, your goals, your relationships, and your talents. And the key to all this may lie in revisiting aspects of your "past self," old places you used to visit, old dreams you used to pursue, and old friendships which were once an important part of your life.

So dare to take that trip down Memory Lane. You could discover many unexpected treasures along the way.

Wishing you a peaceful and productive Mercury/Jupiter retrograde time!
