Some Secrets About Aries You Might Not Know

Among the fifty or so books that I’m working on writing at once (no joke), sometimes I go back to working on my series of books about the various astrology signs. In this series of books, I expose the myths, debunk the falsehoods and lies, and highlight the built-in strengths of each sign. I also provide lots of self-healing tips to help people heal the more wounded and vulnerable aspects of each sign, so that you can start expressing the progressive aspects of your sign and move away from the “shadow” or dark side of that sign’s qualities.

Since the sun is in Aries right now and people with their sun sign in Aries are experiencing their “spiritual New Year” or yearly power time, I thought I’d share some passages from my book about Aries to pay tribute to this fabulous, fearless (and often fucked up) sign. :)

By the way, the sun is in Aries until April 20th; Venus is in Aries until April 16th; and Mars is in Aries until April 21st. Mercury will be in Aries starting April 15th and running through May 2nd. So everybody, regardless of their sun sign, will be feeling an added dose of raw energy, restlessness, and an increased need to show bravado in any area of their life that has been posing a challenge for them. Use all that Aries firepower to your advantage!

Some Excerpts from The Lipstick Mystic’s® Secrets of the Signs: Aries — Willful, Powerful, or Clueless?

Aries the Ram is notorious for bashing its thick, bony forehead into obstacles, pushing and pushing until those brick walls tumble down and give way. This leads to a few headaches and painful bruises for the Ram, but it gets the job done.

In a similar way, people born under this sign have more firepower and raw force of personality than just about any other sign in the Zodiac. So if something is crashing down around you, or if there is some melodrama going on in your immediate social circle, chances are that a Ram is involved.

Aries folks don’t mean to be destructive. In fact, they’re very positive people with an insanely cheerful disposition most of the time. But Aries is also a sign that is infamous for pushing its way into something without thinking through the details or making plans in advance. So the typical Aries has a bit of a bulldozer personality, and he can kick up a lot of dust and debris as he bashes his way through a project, pounces on a romantic relationship, or chases after a business opportunity.

It’s best to just leave an Aries to it. Let him figure things out for himself. Sometimes the only way an Aries can learn is by getting himself into a real mess and then working himself OUT of the mess over time. It’s kind of an inverse approach to personal growth: get into trouble first, and then get yourself OUT of trouble, which will teach you everything you need to know about why you got into trouble in the first place!

If reading that just made your head hurt, then you’re probably not an Aries. You Rams out there are no doubt shaking your big, beautiful foreheads in recognition. “That’s me!” you’re saying. “Why sit around forever waiting to do something when you can get started TODAY and learn from your mistakes as you go along?” That’s the preferred Aries method of learning.

Aries are famous for pushing their way head-first into a situation without doing sufficient research beforehand. “Fake it until you feel it” is pretty much their life motto. They tend to rely upon sheer personality to get them through tough situations instead of being diligent about making preparations or stopping to ask others for assistance.

As you can imagine, this approach can lead an Aries into some major problems. The Ram often finds himself standing hoof deep in a steaming pile of shit. And if he can’t figure out how to extricate himself, then his friends, family members or coworkers have to come around and help dig him out.

But Aries isn’t doomed to always get it wrong. No other sign has the intense levels of bravery and positive attitude that an Aries does. And as an Aries matures, he becomes a force to be reckoned with. He makes fewer mistakes and tends to be more acutely aware of life’s many complications. When an Aries is able to bring everything together, combining knowledge and experience with sheer strength of spirit, miracles can and do happen around him.

You see, Jesus was an Aries. (More about that in future chapters.) And he’s not the only miracle worker who was born under this powerful sign. Every Aries is a white wizard in the making, able to transform negativity into positivity, sickness into health, and sorrow into joy –- if only he can learn how to access his innate spiritual magic.

If you have your moon sign in Aries, the above passages will probably sound familiar to you. Moon sign Aries people tend to “lead” with the typical Aries way of thinking, always feeling tempted to rush into something and get in trouble and absolutely HATING things like research, preparation, and holding back for strategic purposes. They have that same “all or nothing” approach that a sun sign Aries person does.

If your Rising sign is in Aries, you’ll express this energy more in the sense of being a very progressive and forward-looking person who doesn’t dwell on past mistakes and has an almost supernaturally optimistic view about things much of the time.

In my book about Aries I go into great detail about how Aries manifests in every position in your birth chart, plus I provide juicy personal anecdotes of my up close and personal (and sometimes, VERY PERSONAL — in the sense of um, sharing vital fluids personal) encounters with Aries.

Each book will cover one sign, in my usually sassy, ranty, controversial, Lipstick Mystic® style.

But today, I just want to thank all the Aries out there for being YOU. Because you’re such a wonderful and warm-hearted species, and while you can be the stubborn-seeming and aggressive Ram, you can also be the sweet and cuddly lamb — and it’s up to you to learn how to own both powerful and vital parts of your nature so you can be truly whole.

Okay, so unfortunately I don’t have the book about Aries finished yet, but will you settle for a ranting mix of true life confessions of a time traveler, some cool information from the time angels about the nature of time, and some cutting edge guidance about how to heal your time body and get rid of “doom and gloom” events in your life? If so, check out my new book. It’s good, plus it’s chock full of healthy vitamins. Or something.
