Will I Find Love in the New Year? - 1/6/06

Thank you for the opportunity of the tea reading. My question would be... I am about to leave overseas for Europe for just over a year. Will I find love why I am away? Thank you for the free reading. -- D. C.

The image that appeared in the teacup was of a nut or a seed. It looked like a cashew, actually!

So, this obviously means that you're going to be eating lots of yummy nuts and goodies over the holidays. . .kidding!

A nut is really a powerful symbol, and it's a sign of some interesting energy opening up in your life.

The nut is a wonderful thing. On a physical level, the nut is a seed that can become a tree if it is allowed to take root and has access to the right nutrients. It's also marvelous food for animals and people. Nuts are a great source of protein and are easily metabolized by our bodies.

In a more spiritual sense, the symbol of a nut in your tea leaf reading would hint at two things: 1) You already possess the "seed" of what you need as you head into this next phase of your life and 2) The experiences you have are going to be fruitful and nourishing.

Since you asked about romantic love, the nut shows that something already present in your life now may provide an important clue about how romance will flow for you in the New Year. You already have this "seed" of a relationship within your possession. It's like you're already in tune with it, even though it hasn't happened yet.

Now, if you had recently broken up with someone, this could mean that that old relationship still has potential - that there is a "seed" of something vital and powerful in that relationship. So if a very strong, loving relationship has passed through your life recently, keep an open mind about this romance. It's possible that this relationship could be reinvented and transformed into something more "nourishing" for you in the New Year.

But if you've been single for a while, the nut means that you have the seed of an idea about what sort of romance you are looking for, and you should follow these flashes of intuition and inspiration as you meet people next year in Europe. Many people who visit Europe for the first time have powerful psychic experiences there. Europe has experienced so much history and so many layers of civilization. Often people meet "soulmates" when they visit another country for the first time.

Remembering Your Past Lives

I know many people, myself included, who had vivid recall of past lives when they visited London. I remember standing near Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament looking down at the Thames River and feeling this bizarre sense of time shifting and morphing around me. I suddenly saw "myself," only I was a man, rowing in a small boat loaded with packages of some kind on the river. And I could see the buildings and knew it was a past time, possibly from the 1500's. It was all there in a flash, and then it was gone.

These experiences are very common. I had a friend who spent his junior year of college in London. Although he was never one to talk much about metaphysical things, he quietly told me after he got back that he had had many experiences in London where he would be walking through some of the winding side streets and his feet knew exactly where to take him. He knew exactly where he was without looking at a map or asking a guide. This was someone who had always been passionate about England and English history, yet he'd never visited there before. So there was no way he could have known his way around unless that knowledge was coming from somewhere else.

Our nervous systems contain an energy field, a cellular memory, of places we have lived in past lives. Often, this information will surface in dramatic flashes when we set foot in those foreign lands again.

A Soulmate from a Past Life Returns?

The nut definitely means that you should pay attention to your responses to "strangers" that you meet when you are away, because a soulmate from a past life could turn up. Maybe you've already been having dreams or premonitions about meeting somebody special. You might want to jot down some notes about this and see if some of these impressions prove right. Since you already have a "seed" of this new relationship within your energy field, you're probably already attuned to the arrival of someone special. It just hasn't manifested yet down here on the physical plane.

The good news is, the nut definitely means that you are on your way to a love relationship far more nourishing and fulfilling than any other you've experienced. There's a slight chance that this could be an old relationship from this lifetime that returns and is healed, but it's more likely that this will be a new soulmate your Spirit has been longing for, who is scheduled to show up soon. And this may be someone you've traveled through multiple lifetimes with.

As you meet people and have conversations, pay attention to your feelings. You may find that you get waves of recognition where you are convinced you have known this person before. It's kind of a weird thing when you have that feeling about someone, but it's very cool! And remember, sometimes soulmates are friends, not romantic partners. So you could meet some really cool soulmate friends and while you are getting to know them they could introduce you to that more romantic soulmate you've been sensing might be around the corner.

Be patient, stay attuned to what your intuition and your dreams are telling you, and don't be surprised if someone very special shows up on your romantic radar before the end of 2006.

The nut marks the arrival of wonderful, new beginnings.
