Thank you for the free reading. I read a reading you did for a woman about finances and the symbol of the broken necklace and copied your "How to Overcome Poverty Thoughtforms" article.

I am divorced and had an on again/off again relationship with someone I dearly love. What do you see for me in the field of finances and this relationship? If these are too many questions, the main one is finances. Thank you again.

Dear D. L.,

The symbol which appeared in the tea leaves made my jaw drop. At first, I thought I was imagining it. Then I looked at it more carefully, and its shape was still crystal clear.

The leaves took on the shape of. . . a gift box!

The leaves were laid out in a faint box shape with four distinct corners. And at the top was a mass of leaves which looked just like the pretty ribbon you’d find piled on top of a gift.

I wish I had a digital camera so I could have scanned this image for you. I’ve heard rumors that Santa might be bringing one, so hopefully I can include images with my tea leaf readings up ahead. I don’t know how well they’ll photograph, though.

Anyway, think of this image as a momentary psychic “snapshot” of some of the energies you are dealing with now in your life, especially around the issues of finances and this particular romantic relationship. I meditated before I did your reading and was given the guidance that it was okay to ask both questions in your reading. So my focus was, “What is D.L.’s best path both financially and personally?”

The Meaning of a Gift Box Symbol in a Tea Leaf Reading

To unlock the happiest, most progressive energy in your life and open yourself up to receiving greater abundance on all levels, meditate on the image of the gift box. It might be helpful to find a piece of artwork that you can copy to help you focus on this symbol. I’ve included one above that you can look at.

The gift box means several inter-related things. As a larger symbol, the gift box means that good things are on their way and that the spiritual homework you have been doing is destined to pay off. So printing out the "How to Overcome Poverty Thoughtforms" article I wrote and thinking about the points raised in it was a good idea. And reading books and listening to teachers who promote prosperity consciousness will help you, too.

The gift box symbol appearing in the leaves is great confirmation that you ARE putting yourself on a path of prosperity and abundance. Even if you haven’t won the lottery yet, you are going to start seeing synchronicities and positive developments in the financial part of your life. I sense a combination of things here. Number one, you could experience an unexpected windfall of some kind soon, where a chunk of money you didn’t expect comes through. More About Common Financial Blocks

Sometimes people manifest financial limitation because they are caught up in believing that the only way to earn more money is to work longer hours at a job they already find depressing. So they really don’t WANT more money because, to them, the only way it can arrive is if they slave away at something they hate. This belief structure sets up a weird blockage in their auric field that is like a financial straitjacket.

I see this energy configuration in a lot of people I’ve done healing work with. It’s like the channel of energy within the aura which should allow that person to receive abundance is all strangled or constricted. The Gift Box Symbol as Applied to Soulmate Relationships

There is a third layer of meaning with the gift box symbol, and this one applies to the romantic relationship you mentioned.

When we have a soulmate romance that causes us to feel deep levels of connection of a type that blinds us with its intensity and power, this relationship is a gift. But it’s not always a gift about the particular person.

Some soulmates move in and out of our lives because they are spiritual catalysts, messengers who are meant to wake us up to the great depths of love we are capable of experiencing.
