Dear
Jennifer,
I've
been working at a company for 3 years in a very heavy
capacity, and they have yet to hire me full-time. I've
been told to be patient . . . but 3 years? I've tried
everything to make myself more marketable. I'm even
enrolled in an MBA program. What should I do? -- Lisa

Dear
Lisa,
The
image that appeared in your tea leaf reading was the
bear, and its position was near the handle of the cup.
The bear is an animal of challenge, a fierce creature
who forces us to confront our fears. If we face these
fears, we can move beyond them to other opportunities.
You’ve
probably picked up many job skills at this part-time
job. That’s great! But the three year delay in
hiring you full-time is not a positive sign for future
work. While you are studying for your MBA, I sense that
you could get a new full-time job. There is a better
job available to you if you interview outside this company.
You are ready to move on. So get your resumes circulating,
and list those new skills you have picked up in the
last three years. Good luck!
