Evolution of a Lipstick Mystic® Image

If you’ve ever fiddled around with making digital art in Photoshop, or even if you’re a more “serious” artist, you might find my new free report interesting. It’s called Evolution of a Lipstick Mystic® Image, and if you click on that link, the 14 page PDF will instantly download. It’s kind of a show and tell of my extremely intuitive, extremely bizarre, artistic process. I show you how I started with a larger version of the digital painting I created at the left. . . .

Fiddled and diddled to turn it into an image like this. . .

Fiddled and farted around some more to get this . . .

Fiddled some more and eventually ended up with this. . .

Some other messing around led to this turning up. . .

It’s probably only going to be interesting to you if you like to create digital art in Photoshop, are looking for some ideas about creating brushes and patterns and how to use them, want to see how to get some fun use out of the Polar Coordinates filter, and/or are just enormously interested in understanding the mysterious and frequently flatulent process whereby I expel these periodic art farts.

The report should really be called, “Ramblings of a Not Terribly Tortured, Just Occasionally Constipated, Artist.” Or Fartist.

And thus ends my enlightening blog post for the day! :)
